- CEO and Co-founder, VernIQ: Sangeeta and her team have built Alfa, a high abstraction language designed to realize and build software applications in vernacular language. Alfa language and its associated cloud based tools (patent-pending) are currently under limited release.
- President and Co-founder, Extensio Software: Sangeeta and her team built several enterprise software products including enterprise information integration platform, mobility platform, SMS messaging platform and Excel based information delivery platform. Sangeeta led the sales and marketing operations of the company, and built a significant customer installation of the company’s software products in India, with customers such as Holcim-Lafarge, Johnson and Johnson and AstraZeneca.
- Corporate Stints at Eicher Motors, Hindustan Lever Ltd and RSMML Ltd.: Sangeeta led and participated in multiple enterprise wide IT initiatives including ERP roll-out and decision support tools.
- Volunteer, Nasscom Product Group: Sangeeta was a part of the apex team running Nasscom Product Conclave, a flagship event, with more than 100 volunteers and thousands of attendees. She conceived and ran the community initiatives of bringing CIOs and start-up product companies together, and ran Product Showcases at large enterprises. She co-founded and ran IP4BIZ with a volunteer team, an outward-bound initiative for showcasing Made-in-India software products to large and medium enterprises.

During her IP career, she has been associated with some top law firms of the country like Subramaniam and Associates, New Delhi, Anand and Anand, Noida etc. & is currently working with the firm Samvad Partners from their Chennai office.
- Her research interests fall in domain of material science, mineral modeling, RFID and sustainable mining practices etc. She has seven refereed research publications to her credit apart from conference publications. Her work has been published in journals like Applied Physics letters, Physics letters A., Chinese Physics letters etc. She has also co-authored a chapter on ‘Quantification of Placer Minerals by Modeling ofElectromagnetic Response Using Computational Techniques: An InnovativeApproach’, in the book ‘Sustainable Mining Practices’, published in 2016 (ISBN 978-81-8487-604-8) apart from being a referee for many publications.
