Tracfin aims to revitalize financial infrastructure, information, and agri-business to reach 87% of the Indian population who are excluded or underserved by the traditional banking system. The start-up uses mobile phones, alternative data, and machine learning to close the critical data gap that prevents financial institutions from lending to creditworthy rural Indians.
