  • Certified Trainer to undertake IPR awareness programs in schools andcolleges under the National IPR Policy by Cell for IPR Promotion (CIPAM) and Patent Facilitating Centre, Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC), New Delhi.
  • Part of well-known Women Scientist scheme-C under DST, Govt. of India for a year. During her IP career, she has been associated with some top law firms of the country like Subramaniam and Associates, New Delhi, Anand and Anand, Noida etc. & is currently working with the firm Samvad Partners from their Chennai office.
  • Her research interests fall in domain of material science, mineral modeling, RFID and sustainable mining practices etc. She has seven refereed research publications to her credit apart from conference publications. Her work has been published in journals like Applied Physics letters, Physics letters A., Chinese Physics letters etc. She has also co-authored a chapter on ‘Quantification of Placer Minerals by Modeling ofElectromagnetic Response Using Computational Techniques: An InnovativeApproach’, in the book ‘Sustainable Mining Practices’, published in 2016 (ISBN 978-81-8487-604-8) apart from being a referee for many publications.
  • Her grants’ list is conspicuously long with reputed names like Croucher Foundation grant to attend Croucher Summer School on Neutron Scattering in City University, Hong Kong, American Institute of Physics scholarship to attend Industrial Physics Forum in Brazil, Young Researcher bursary of EUCALL (European Union of Advanced Laser Light Sources) to attend Science@Free Electron Lasers (FELs) conference in Trieste, Italy, European commission grant to attend NiPS Summer School and Micro Energy Conference at The Noise in PhysicalSystem Laboratory, University of Perugia, Gubbio, Italy, Taylor & Francis Grant to attend the 6th World Conference on Research Integrity in City University, Hong Kong in order to present her talk on “Fuzzy-Based Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Algorithm: An Innovative Tool forResearch Institutions for Evaluation”, SãoPaulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) grant to attend São Paulo School of Advanced Science on Science Diplomacy and Innovation Diplomacy (InnSciD-SP) at the University of São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil etc.
Dr. Vijeta is currently a Patent Associate at Samvad Partners, Chennai and a Certified Trainer to undertake IPR awareness programs in schools and colleges under the National IPR Policy by Cell for IPR Promotion (CIPAM) and Patent Facilitating Centre, Technology Information, Forecasting and AssessmentCouncil (TIFAC), New Delhi. She is a doctorate in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad and a registered patent agent. She’s a University Gold Medalist in her Masters and a recipient of several international accolades.
